ISLAND LAKE – The village will hold an indoor garage sale for people to sell their items and clear clutter from their houses.

Vero Beach officials looking to rewrite sign rules

VERO BEACH — Election and garage sale signs no longer will be allowed in the city's rights-of-way, while open house signs will only be allowed in those areas only between noon Thursday and 6 p.m. Sunday under a proposed new ordinance covering temporary signs.

Another chapter in the ongoing discussion between the city, residents and business owners will be written today when the Abilene Planning & Zoning Commission again considers the city's proposed regulations on signs businesses can use to advertise.

De Junque de Trunk a success

De Junque de Trunk again attracted a large number of buyers at the Cain Center Saturday.  The huge garage sale was again a success, selling everything from artwork to kitchen appliances to furniture that may have been taking up space in someone’s garage or closet.  It was converted to money for its sellers.
