Work starts on Metro 2 highway

HCM City has started work on Metro No2 highway backed with US$1.25 billion borrowed from the Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank and Kreditanstalt Fur Wiederaufbau (Reconstruction Credit Institute).

A free, self-guided tour of 62 rain gardens in Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee and Waukesha counties is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The tour, arranged by the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network, a Racine water quality advocate, has stops at 56 locations.

Bridge work to begin over south fork of Blackwater River

Bridge replacement work will begin Tuesday over the south fork of the Blackwater River in Pettis County. According to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the work will take place on state Route 127. The bridge is located three miles south of state Route D.
